| We
will be staying at the Hotel Lagunita, a quaint magical
cluster of thatched-roof palapas, nestled along the deep blue
shores of the Pacific Ocean, in the emerald bay of Yelapa,
Mexico. The hotel is rustic, yet very comfortable, offering
native simplicity along with the use of modern amenities such as hot
showers and the phone!
Each couple or pair of
people will have their own palapa with a private bathroom.
Although you can step from your door to the beach, the hotel also
offers a small, freshwater swimming pool. Palm trees and flowers
adorn all the pathways that you walk upon.
Meals are served
outside, on the beach's edge, at our own large table. The food is fresh,
authentic and divine, full of local fruits, fish, vegetables, salsas, and
homemade tortillas.
The class is held in a
open windowed studio right on the beach and offers us privacy with a
great view of the ocean.
